hmm..here I am blogging again. Yet another long time since i blogged' i'm not really a regular blogger. i just blog when and where i like..so yea'

I wonder what is it that makes life so interesting..? Well, if u're wondering why ask this question.

Things are changing constantly for me now and adapting for the past 3months in you know where and some how it changed or made me think differently about alot of things..freedom for once (enlistment day!), money, future, girl friend too? yea' hmmm...and getting $400 bucks kinda sux but it made me learn to save even more carefully..hai~ and like sometimes you feel lonely there and you want to talk to someone instead of the guy beside your bed bunk, then you somehow need a little companionship too..hey! everyone does!?

I kinda hate the fact that i still need to serve when there're so much more that i can do outside and this is wasting my time too' tsk..

but anyways, i'm trying to deal with it and though the 3months are passing smoothly i hope it does till the end and quick' 120610 - ORD

so i decided to go cycling in the evening~ shiok'

I cycled to railway mall and had dinner at Subways..perfect!~ :)
I love railway mall!! hahaa..so relaxing' unforunately can't get a beer..cycling mah~

nevermind..so i slowly cycled back listening to my ipod..great day!

Phew~
After a tensed and tiring day, i decided to take a slow walk from my office place to esplanade and relaxed the day away.

To the esplanade library i went, I thought of getting a cup of coffee and something to bite at the library's cafe but it was closed for some private event..hai~ wasted :S ..instead i went to the end of the library with those comfortable couches..hehee'

Quietly and relaxing looking out to the cityscape while listening to john mayer, Sarah McLachlan on my ipod. Soon after, i fell asleep...an hour later i woke up and heard clapping and chearing at the other end of the library...and i went to check out what was all that about.......CORRINNE MAY at Esplanade Library!!? Oh man :) Perfect!

I was suprised that she was there at the library's cafe...but sadly it was a pivate event (hmm..no wonder!?) but anyways i stood behind the closed glassed doors and watch her perform and slowly couple of people started to join me too..hahaa..lucky (pie seh arh, i standing alone there le..cos nobody at first :P) wow.. she was really amazingly beautiful and talented singer/ songwriter..

It's so amazing to watch her perform live, so smoothing and relaxing~! Ahh~

What a way to complete my day...with corrinne may! of course :)
Yay!!! I will definitely go for her performance, if there is one.

It's official..i'll be leave for Switzerland for 2weeks from the 7 Oct to 20 Oct. Anyways, if you are wandering if i'm on a holiday. Guess again, I'm on an exchange programme to Switzerland. Sometimes, i think god has something for me and i've been really lucky at certain points of my life. Thank you lord :)

I had the worse weekend i can even get this year..shit.

to make matters worse, I woke up today and i had this very bad backache. hai~ I took leave and went to the doctor for a check up. I told him that the pain has been there for about 2months plus and the pain hasn't gone away and he told me to get anX-ray. I just hope everything is alright. please~

TVc shoot & txy's 25th Anniversary

Shit~ I haven't been blogging because i just can't seem to login. really really freaking pissed!!! (*#$@(*#%@

back to subject~

For the past 2days my call time was 6am. Tiring man! phew~
We had like 4 to 5 van and our monster truck on shoot. It's was so cool having all the vans and our truck out! hehee..

On thrusday we went to Bugis National Library to shoot, we had rent to VIP room on the highest floor, the view was amazing.

Today we were shooting at this bunglow at meyer's road.
The 3-story bunglow was slick with a small garage - turn collector's hut filled with miniature Ferrari toys neatly arranged in display cases on a long stretch shelves side by side with century of wonderful pictures of racers and a few pictures of past F1 racing cars.

The shoot was a great experience and i learned a lot from John too. He's our "DOP/grip/gaffer/full of experiences." hahaa..from 2days of shoot he really opened up more things for me to be aware of, if i really want to be a Director of photography (DOP).

After work, i went down to SPH for our txy 25th Anniversary celebration, We definitly came along way to where we are now. We had our talented writers and artists performing, singing and dance the night away. There were also awards and change of this years' committee. Not forgetting the Japanese Buffet!! shiok~ :D after that we had a hugh family photo to end of this wonder day. yay~! hee :)

SIP is coming in a week time and i need to clear lots and lots of stuff before going to SIP

oh btw Seb tan from shooting gallery is really a great and friendly person but quite unexpected that he didn't look at our portfolios, man~ but we talked and laugh for an hr with wise words too, of course :) He was so friendly and even open the door for us and told us that he will see us on the 31 of July.hahaa we got it! sweet~ :) really can't wait for SIP

National day is coming and i really want to shoot this year. it will the most special event this year, so far. Lets just hope so :)

Planning to organised a photo competition and workshops. need to find a theme and topic. i need help to make this work.

I can't wait to graduate FAST~! the world is waiting~ :)

halo peeps~!!

Just got back from school..took a bath and try to figure out why the hell i can't sign in to my blog for so long?? Hai~ well, i finally got in like more than 20mins later..

today morning started really great~ :) and we had design school's Annual General Meeting at auditorium 2.
It was really great to have people coming to support us and the performers..it really helps alot..thank you guys~!!

OMG~!!! Time must have swish past me like a freaking bullet~!! It's 2007 now?? Madness~

Alright alright~ it's been awhile since i did had any time to blog again...hai~ sian

- school still suX biggER TIME~!! hahaa..=P Still need a shoot..wanna go on a holiday~!! wanna travel~!! wanna get the bloody hell out of Singapore~!!!

- Did an event for HSBC 121KM Walk for 2 straight Days..Love it~!! one of my best experience of my life~ had fun with my friends.

- I got into SPH(Singapore Press Holding) this year as a student photo journalist under Lianhe zaobao(Chinese newspaper)..hahaa~!!!

Actually the story was that i was suppose to cover an event that was quite a hugh thing in Singapore but i didn't make it for that..but my friend was there covering then and had been approach by a zaobao Photog and ask whether she was interested to join them as a photog and she called me like 12 plus at night and told me about it. i was waiting for a year for this opporunity and finally i got it just like that..woah~!!?? and we even skipped all the interviews and they threw us straight into the orientation already..SWEEt~!! hahaa..

Well i guess i said the best of what i have been up too..haha.. anyways the guys and i were talking..actually this month is our final block..woah~ 3years..i really love it in TP~!! It's the best i tell u..if you haven't or not studying in TP you are missing alot alot of FUN~!!!

How i wish i can just travel all my life with a girlfriend and just do photojournalism or work for national geographic or discovery travel and living and experience the differet cultures, go surfing everyday, get a house in Australia, A DOG~!!, A car, my own restaurant and Live life to the fullest~ SWEET man~ Great~

Today, Russel Wong, the photographer was in my school to give a talk. woah~ hahhaa..kinda childish, yes i know :P

But hey, it's RUSSEL WONG !!!

For those who don't know who Russel Wong is, let me give you an inside about this guy.

Russel Wong is one of the most profiled photographers in Singapore and Asia.
Described as a ‘celebrity photographer who also photographs celebrities’, Russel enjoys the acclaim of being the first Singaporean to break into the notoriously difficult Hollywood movie industry....

As his story goes, he actually started out back in his school days shooting with a film camera just like any young passionate photographer would start out.

He started out in sports photography covering world record miler Sebastian Coe, Russel went on to carry out coveted photographic work for the Nike Shoe Company, capturing luminaries such as Carl Lewis, Mary Decker and John McEnroe.

and my favorite parts were him running down the streets of Hong Kong with Jackie Chan searching for locations to cover for the front cover of Times Magazine. WOAH~!! ahahaa.. @.@

What a guy, i tell you. Like a warm hearted singaporean he is, Russel gave us very good advised and even inspired me alot to widen my areas and confidences. :)

Having him in our school was like a family reunion for our lecturers to catch up with the changing times. haha..speaking bout reunion~!!! CHiNESE NeW YeaR ARR~

Woah!~
Oh Man!!~ How times have changed. Following in the esteemed footsteps of Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan, Daniel Craig was offered the role of James Bond in the movie Casino Royale.

Daniel Craig's Bond is a colder character than previous incarnations, less inclined to deliver snappy one-liners (although there is a scene with a stripped naked Bond and a chair that elicited huge laughs at the movie theatre..LolzzZz..shhh~), and yet he seems to be a more complex, rounded figure, stealth, Romantic, Faster, Stronger, hmm..loving and humorous? And he's certainly has a great athletic figure, I must say. Well, the ladies will love it..if you know what i mean~

Hahahaa..Well, for your James Bond Fans out there you definitely have to go watch!

I give this movie 8.5/10 Popcorns!

Love the action, fighting scenes and nice Cinematography!..perfect way to kill for James Bond, of course! and not forgetting the Loving and Gorgerous Eva Green and the Stealth and Stunning Aston Martin!! rawr~

Woah~ It been quite awhile since there's alot been going on for me!! =D Phew~ hard to keep track...hahaa

Anyways...Yes~!!! This was what everybody's been waiting for the Canon Photo Marathon, 14th October 2006.

At 8.20am, I was at Suntec convention centre queuing up for registration and there were like close to around 1,000 people there??

I bump into Zul~!!! Hahaa..wat a small world =D He was there with his friend too :p

I had ran into a little problem with the registration personals that didn’t have my name on the list when I DID registered 3weeks ago and zul told me that they had closed the registration at a period of time (Which could been within the time I registered..Hai~). Never mind, but in the end I managed to still get in. thankfully... phew~

IMF/ World Bank S2006 Aftermath

It's been 4dayz after the IMF/ World Bank S2006 held in Suntec Conventional Centre. Meeting great people and working with the best (especially NYAA YPN official Photographers!!!!) ;) I'll never forget the times and experience I had and shared with many wonderful people, the press photographers, our great mentors/ friends that held beside us through thick and thin.

During the first day of IMF/ World Bank S2006, we head out to Suntec convention centre ready and on top form and indeed security were very tight. Let alone, we can’t even bring water bottles inside unless it was our own container type of bottles. Thus, my Watson water bottle was confiscated, sadly, but they said that water will be provided so we don’t have to bring for the following days to come…

NTUC Fairprice was the official Sponsor for the water bottles that were allocated at various places of the convention centre. Every morning I would get myself a bottle to start the day :)
Before heading to our NYAA office...

This is where the 1,000 double-storey offices were built within the convention halls, really stunting I must say. This is the place where I reported to work everyday on the second floor.(Going up that stairs on the right)

Unknown to the public, there were about 1,000 limousines parked below suntec city's car park. Well polished, maintained, and highly guarded by police officers doing their routine checks and to my amazement and love for BMWs, that’s the most I have seen in my entire life!! Wow…

Future more, of all the times spent at our NYAA office...

Cover events/ seminars and conferences, taking photos of ministers and governors, having a great time at the esplanade..

and not forgetting going to press center to get coffee and tea...hahas...i've said it and I’ll say it again: "Because the Press center's coffee is good!!!" wahahaa!

The one moment that I will never forget is the opportunity to be at the Istana!! Being a Singaporean, it was a tremendous honour for me to be standing there amongst foreign and local ministers and of course, the President.

As I can remember the last delegate that I took a photo of was in fact; Miss Venezuela. Yes, you heard me right, Miss Venezuela. I was quite surprise myself, I was actually at the press center taking a few photos while having my breakfast at the buffet table; then a delegate ask me to take a photo of Miss Venezuela while she was having her breakfast there too, so I took a couple of photos later to be given at the photo centre :)

Other than that, We also gave Marian a surprise celebration on her birthday which was the last day of the IMF/ World Bank S2006. hahaa..she sure had fun and it was a fantastic moment to end it off with!!

Before I come to an end, I would like to give a special thanks to our great mentors/ Friends: Willy Foo, Chee yong, andass, Nicholas chee, James Soh , Aileen. Thanks you for giving me this honor of being part of this great project.

And to the rest of the NYAA YPN Photographers, especially Meisy for keeping things organized even to the last minute and everybody working around the clock. I am sure everyone had their share of moments and experiences through this project :)

How I wish it didn't end so fast; but the future is ahead for us to plan and I hope that we can work on something for a long time to come :)

This is my first post for my blog. I got inspired to create one is to share my great dayz and moments with you guys reading my blog. It all started out with this years IMF/ World Bank S2006...
